SHARING THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST

“To God alone be praise and glory.” What you will find here at Christ Lutheran is a group of imperfect people who find comfort in our perfect savior, Jesus Christ. It is only through him that we can find the strength to live up to that slogan. We have a passion for Worship, Growing in Faith, and “Going” in Faith. Please feel free to browse our site, contact our staff or even stop in for a visit. But above all please know that we are here for you wherever you are in your walk of faith. We want nothing more than to get to know you and introduce, reacquaint, and strengthen your relationship with Christ, our Savior!

Now to him, who is able, according to the power that is at work within us, to do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21)

Stay confidant in Christ!

A note from our pastor:

Dear Family of God at Christ,

Now to him, who is able, according to the power that is at work within us, to do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21)

Through trying to honor God’s representatives in government and those whom God has given us in health care, specifically the Center for Disease Control, (4th Commandment) and in trying to show and give love for the physical welfare of our neighbors (5th Commandment), and additionally, desiring to stay in contact with God’s Word and sacrament to keep growing in our faith and empowering our witness the council at Christ has decided on the following measures and encouragements going forward for the time being.

  1. Services (Lent/Sunday) on site are canceled. (The council will meet prior to Holy Week to re-evaluate at that time.)

  1. We will be posting information and links to devotions on the Facebook page (Christ Lutheran Church – Cambridge, MN) and church Website. Additionally, a bulletin with a focus on home worship and a message will be posted by Sunday morning on both platforms.

  1. The church directory will be postponed until fall (If you get a call concerning your current upcoming appointment please disregard.)

  1. As the church will still have bills to pay, we ask that you continue to be regular with your offerings. You can either mail them in or use the online giving platform available on mobile app and on the church website.

  1. There will be regular “Facebook live” devotions and updates on the church Facebook page going forward. Please be patient as we become familiar with this resource but there is also the encouragement to “share” these as an additional opportunity to reach out to friends and the community.

  1. Pastor will be calling members to see how they are doing and to share God’s Word and encouragement in addition to stay connected to our family here at Christ.

  1. Members are encouraged to call up pastor at the church # or on his cell phone 701 471-0341 and set up times to have a personal devotion and to receive the Lord’s Supper.

  1. We will make use of the sign to post short but encouraging passages of God’s Word as reminders for those passing by.

  1. If anyone is in need of groceries and does not feel comfortable going out and getting them. The church food shelf is open to members as well as there are volunteers willing to go shopping and drop items off at your home.

  1. Please keep your family of believers as well as our nation and fellow humans for whom Christ bled and died in your prayers.

God’s peace be yours now and always.
